Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL), the flagship company of Coal India Ltd (CIL), would soon become one of the ten best coal companies in the world, achieving a coal output of over 100 million tonnes (mt) by the end of this fiscal, MCL chairman and managing director, S R Upadhyay said.
Speaking at the 18th first aid competition of MCL at Talcher near here, Upadhyay said reaching the production milestone of 100 mt is only a matter of few days for the coal company.
He thanked all his officers, workers and the state agencies for their whole hearted co-operation that enabled the company to move towards this direction.
