McLeod Russel India today reported a rise of 4.5 per cent in net profit to Rs 201.01 crore for the Q2 period ended September 2010, compared to the corresponding period last year.
Sales during the quarter was higher to Rs 361.24 crore compared to Rs 343.77 in the corresponding period in 2009-10.
The company in a statement said realisation was higher to Rs 9.5 a kgs to Rs 151.60 during the quarter compared to the corresponding quarter in 2009-10.
Production during the quarter was down Rs 2 lakh kgs to 329 lakh kgs.
