MphasiS' consolidated net profit for quarter ended January 31, 2010 grew 27.7 per cent to Rs 268.3 crore from Rs 210 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue is up 21.19 per cent at Rs 1,191.6 crores as against Rs 977.7 crore on a year on year basis. Operating profit registered a growth of 27.2 per cent and stood at Rs 267.8 crore against Rs 210.6 crore a year back.
Earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 12.80 from Rs 10.05, up 27.3 per cent.
On a quarter on quarter basis, the company's consolidated net profit is up 9.5 per cent at Rs 268.3 crore against Rs 245 crore, revenue grew 5.2 per cent from Rs 1,132.2 crore to Rs 1,191.6 crore.
Ganesh Ayyar, chief executive officer, MphasiS said, "We have crossed the $250 million mark in the first quarter of 2010."
MphasiS added 19 new clients across 6 verticals, 11 from HP Channel and recorded a net headcount increase of 2,166 to 35,690.
