Moulded plastic furniture maker Nilkamal today said its net profit declined by 31.02 per cent to Rs 11.56 crore for the third quarter ending December 31, 2010.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 16.76 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, Nilkamal said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Total income of the company of the company for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010 stood at Rs 304.74 crore as against Rs 250.85 crore in the same period last fiscal.
In another filing to the BSE, the company said it has appointed Mufazzal S Federal as an additional director of the company from January 25,2011.
Shares of Nilkamal today closed at Rs 310.30 on the BSE, down 3.41 per cent from its previous close.
