Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) has won the prestigious SAP ACE-2010 Award for being the “Best Run Business using SAP in the Chemicals category”.
V Seetaramaiah, general manager (information technology), PPL received the award on behalf of the company at an awards ceremony held in Mumbai recently. The award, sponsored by SAP India, was presented to PPL by Peter Gartenberg, Managing Director, SAP (India Sub-continent).
PPL's SAP implementation, named EMPOWER (Enterprise Management & Process Optimization for Work Excellence & Rewards), covers processes in all business areas including Finance & Accounts, Cost Control, Supply & Distribution, Sales, Production, Materials Management, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Human Resources & Payroll.
