RJio Digital Pack offer extended until Aug 6; offers extra 2GB data per day

The Jio Digital Pack is available to only few users who get the option to opt for this add-on pack on their MyJio app

Reliance Jio, a Mukesh Ambani-owned telecommunication service provider, is currently offering an additional 2GB of 4G data per day to some users, according to a report in MySmartPrice. Named ‘Jio Digital Pack’, the offer provides an additional data of 2GB per day an add-on pack on select recharges, which means the additional data is over and above the existing data limit that user gets based on their recharge tariff plans.

The Jio Digital Pack is available to only a few users who get the option to opt for this add-on pack on their MyJio app. The offer is set to expire tomorrow i.e. August 6. The add-on pack is available exclusively for prepaid customers with an active recharge plan of Rs 399 and above.

Recently, Reliance Jio also introduced Jio Phone Monsoon Hungama offer in which the company is offering an effectively free Jio Phone, in exchange of any other feature phone, at a refundable security deposit of Rs 501; Rs 999 less than the original security deposit of Rs 1,500. With the Jio Monsoon Hungama offer, the company also announced a Rs 99 exclusive recharge plan for Jio Phone users that comes bundled with the Jio Phone. While the company is offering JioPhone at a security deposit of Rs 501, the feature phone comes bundled with six months unlimited free data and voice at Rs 594 (Rs 99 x 6). This means, customers will need to shell out Rs 1,095 (Rs 501 refundable security + Rs 594 recharge) upfront to get the JioPhone bundled with six months of unlimited calls and data in exchange of their old feature phone.

Reliance Jio is also gearing up to take pre-booking of the recently announced Jio Phone 2 and Jio GigaFiber home broadband connection. The Jio Phone 2 and GigaFiber were announced at Reliance Industries’ 41st Annual General Meeting, which was held in Mumbai last month.
