Textile firm S Kumars Nationwide today said its 12 promoters have pledged a 36.21 per cent stake with lenders as collateral security.
In a disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange, S Kumars said its 12 promoters have pledged 8.09 crore shares, representing a 36.21 per cent stake in the company.
According to the disclosure, the company's promoter Anjani Finvest has pledged 6.24 crore shares, forming a 27.98 per cent stake.
Further, other promoters -- S Kumar Enterprises (3.76 per cent), S Kumars Ltd (0.09 per cent) and Ani-Abhi Investment (0.70 per cent) -- have pledged the remaining 8.23 per cent stake, the company said.
"The equity shares were pledged to the lenders of S Kumars Nationwide as per requirement of the corporate debt restructuring package sanctioned to the company," it added.
Shares of S Kumars were trading at Rs 20.95, up 2.44 per cent in afternoon trade on the BSE today.
