Saikrishna Mandapaty has been appointed as the new head for Satyam Computer Services' banking and financial vertical (BFS) vertical, which contributes about 20 per cent to the company's overall revenues. Saikrishna replaces Anil Kumar, senior vice-president (BFS), who has quit the company recently.
“This is in addition to his (Mandapaty) current responsibilities as the head of the travel, transportation and logistics (TTL) vertical. In his 15 years with Satyam, he is credited with setting up one of the first US offices for the company, and helped acquire and manage accounts that are now amongst the top strategic customers for Satyam,” the company said in its internal newsletter to its associates on Wednesday.
