IT firm Tata Elxsi today reported a decline of 33.39% in its consolidated net profit at Rs 32.51 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011.
The company had a net profit of Rs 48.81 crore in the same period last year, Tata Elxsi said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income from operations rose to Rs 416.95 crore during the period, against Rs 388.17 crore in the same year-ago period.
The board has proposed a dividend of Rs 7 per share on the face value of Rs 10 to the shareholders of the company.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 269.55 in the late afternoon trade on the BSE, down 0.24% from the previous close.
