Kitchen appliances maker TTK Prestige today said its profit after tax (PAT) has grown nearly two fold to Rs 29.29 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2010 as against the same period last fiscal.
The company had a PAT of Rs 15.33 crore during the quarter ended December 31, 2009, TTK Prestige said in a statement.
During the period, the company had registered a growth of 60.6 per cent in net sales to Rs 239.75 crore against 149.20 crore posted in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.
Besides, the company said it has added 26 stores during the quarter taking the total number of stores to 276 across the country.
TTK Prestige is a part of the Rs 1,100 crore TTK Group. Its product portfolio includes pressure cookers, non-stick cookware, and gas stoves to electrical appliances and kitchen tools.
