The state government is conducting a two-day job fair involving more than 100 companies from October 29 as a part of its objective to secure 100,000 jobs for young people each year. The job fair, partnered with Andhra University and Millennium Solutions, Visakhapatnam, will be conducted in Vizag, an official release said. Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy launched a new scheme called ‘Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu’ recently with an objective of providing 1.5 million jobs in the next few years by training the youth in skill development centres to be opened under this programme.
