United Phosphorous promoters pledge 5.64% stake

Agrochemicals firm United Phosphorous today said its promoters have pledged 5.64 per cent stake in the company for an undisclosed amount.

In a filing to the National Stock Exchange, the company said that its promoters have pledged 2.48 crore shares representing 5.64 per cent stake in the company.

Demuric Holdings has pledged 2.47 crore shares representing 5.63 per cent and Nerka Chemicals has pledged 49,200 shares, or 0.01 per cent stake in the company, the filing added.

Shares of the United Phosphorous settled at Rs 95.80, down 4.20 per cent on the NSE today.
