 "Ajay Upadhyay elected gen secy of Editors Guild")
Veteran journalist Ajay Upadhyay and chief editor of online daily 'The Citizen', Seema Mustafa, have been elected as the general secretary and treasurer, respectively, of the Editors Guild of India.
This was announced after the annual general meeting of the Guild here yesterday.
"Veteran journalist Ajay Upadhyay and chief editor of online daily 'The Citizen', Seema Mustafa, were unanimously elected as general secretary and treasurer, respectively, at the annual general meeting of Editors Guild of India held in Delhi yesterday," said a press statement issued by Vijay Naik, former general secretary of the Guild.
The statement added that the announcement was made by the president of the Guild, N Ravi.
