More than 40 people died reportedly under mysterious circumstances.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged that the Muslim community has expressed its reservations since the call for Bandh may affect their preparations for Eid as shops and other business outlets would remain close.

He also added no Muslim leader has complained to him that the Bandh would affect Eid preprations.
A 40-member CBI team headed by joint director R P Agarwal had initiated process of investigation. Agarwal, a 1986 batch Assam-Meghalya cadre IPS officer, is posted as Joint Director, anti-corruption department, in the CBI.
