Meeting on NCTC to be held on May 5

The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government has yet again succumbed to the pressures of Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee and agreed to hold an exclusive meeting of chief ministers to discuss the implementation of National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) on May 5. Banerjee was the first chief minister to protests against the meeting called by home minister P Chidambaram on April 16 to discuss other issues along with NCTC.
