Ahead of his statewide tour from May 1 to press for a strong Lok Ayukta, social activist Anna Hazare on Thursday held separate meetings with Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, his deputy Ajit Pawar and leader of the opposition in the state council Vinod Tawde, besides Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray. Bal Thackeray refused to meet Hazare, about whom the Shiv Sena chief had been openly critical.
