Milind Deora, minister of state for shipping, communications and information technology, today questioned print media’s credibility.

Deora tweeted, “Almost every newspaper’s “Thane's Tower of Death" story is preceded by full page real estate adverts. Serious credibility crisis” (sic).

Deora is also a member of Parliament from South Mumbai constituency of Lok Sabha.

On Thursday evening, a illegal building under construction in Mumbra – a Mumbai suburb collapsed. The rescue operation is still continuing on the site. According to latest Reuters report, the death toll has risen to 72, and 36 injured are admitted in hospitals.
