Two more army jawans tested positive for swine flu here today, raising the total number of people affected by the disease so far to 37 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Of the total H1N1 infection, Jammu region accounted for 24 confirmed cases, while 13 tested positive for the virus in the Kashmir valley, health department officials said.
Eleven of the 24, in the Jammu region, are army men.
The authorities here received test report of three patients from National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) and two army personnel were found positive while one was found negative.
The infected persons have been put on Tamiflu and their condition is stated to be stable, the officials added.
On October 13, an army jawan, who tested positive for swine flu, was admitted to the military hospital here.
