Finance Secretary Ashok Lavasa will hold additional charge of the post of secretary revenue department during the absence of incumbent Hasmukh Adhia for a week, beginning tomorrow.

The competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Revenue (DoR), to Lavasa, from September 23 to 30, due to the absence on tour of Adhia, an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.

Lavasa, a 1980 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre, is also Secretary, Department of Expenditure.

Adhia is a 1981 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre.
