The Prime Minister-appointed committee to look into the controversial deal between ISRO’s commercial arm Antrix and Devas Multimedia has been given one month to assess wrongdoing in the contract.

The two-member committee headed by Planning Commission member B K Chaturvedi will review the deal and submit its report. “We have been given one month to review the procedures and approval processes followed by Antrix, ISRO and the Department of Space, and submit the report,” Chaturvedi told Business Standard.

The committee also comprises Roddam Narsimha, a member of the Space Commission.
