The Budget Session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly will start from Monday with the address of Governor E S L Narasimhan. During the session that will be conducted in two phases, the House will have 29 sittings. In the first phase, the House will transact businesses in five sittings.
The House would re-assemble on February 15 to conduct the remaining businesses that include presentation of annual budget before it would be adjourned sine-die on March 26. The state government will present the third supplementary demand for grants of nearly Rs 1,600 crore for 2009-10 on January 11.
