The Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) executive committee is likely to adopt a resolution in its meeting on January 24 in New Delhi, urging party president Sitaram Kesari to reconsider the party decision to extend support to the United Front government at the Centre.
Disclosing this to newsmen here yesterday, executive committee member and former parliamentary party secretary V Narayansamy said that Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda was blaming the Congress for the failure of his government.
If the government failed to implement the policies of the Congress, the party has no other option, but to reconsider its support, he said.
