The Province of British Columbia in Canada and Haryana (India) have agreed to form a working group for mutual cooperation and assistance.
They have also agreed for mutual cooperation in the field of food processing and mining. The decision was taken in a meeting of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda with the Premier of British Columbia Christy Clark at Chandigarh.
Hooda invited the international firms from British Columbia to invest in the International Horticulture Market at Ganaur.

He said that the proposed market would have excellent logistics and ideally located near the Delhi Border in Haryana. Haryana Chief Minister also sought the Canadian expertise in mining.
