The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing on the petitions filed by 11 rebel BJP MLAs challenging their disqualification from the Assembly to Thursday.
The case came up before Justice VG Sabhahith, the third judge in the case, after the court delivered a split verdict two days ago on the petitions. When the court hearing commenced this morning, counsels for rebel MLAs, BV Acharya, Ravi Varma Kumar and KG Raghavan argued the case. As there was no time left for Soli Sorabjee, counsel for the government, Justice Sabhahith adjourned the hearing to Thursday.
