Jharkhand Sena, a social organisation would be soon formed to fight for the creation of a separate state comprising the districts of south Bihar, according to senior Congress leader and MP, Gyan Ranjan. Ranjan had announced this at a rally of the Chhotanagpur and Santhal Pragana Regional Women Congress Committee (CSRWCC) at Ranchi on Saturday, said here on Monday that the Sena would help create socio-political awakening among the people particularly the tribals to mobilise their support for the cause. he said initially 125 committed male and female activists each would be handpicked from different areas across the jharkhand region for a training programme at a secret place. after the training, sena activists will be deployed at all block headquarters in the region who will appoint their representatives in each of the villages in south bihar within the next five years, mr ranjan said.
Stating that the jharkhand movement was passing through a critical stage, the congress leader said, it had become necessary to revive the stir to fulfil the long-cherished demand of the people in the region. pti ajk dg hpd trg 03041354 d
