Kiran Kumar elected AP Speaker
N Kiran Kumar Reddy has been unanimously elected as the 17th speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. Reddy took charge of the House from protem speaker JC Diwakar Reddy on Thursday morning.
Kiran Kumar, 48, won Assemble elections from Chittoor district for the fourth time. He got into politics at age 25 following his father Amarnath Reddy’s death.
