Maha coordination panel to decide on retail FDI: Praful Patel

NCP leader Praful Patel added a caveat to Kapil Sibal's comment yesterday that Maharashtra was agreeable to 51% FDI

The Congress may have the support of NCP on allowing foreign-owned stores in India, but in Mahararashtra, it is yet to get the coalition partner on board.

Union Minister and NCP leader Praful Patel added a caveat to Communications and IT Minister Kapil Sibal's comment yesterday that Maharashtra was agreeable to 51% FDI.  Patel said a coordination committee in the state would decide on the issue.
