MoFPI to ask for Rs 250-300 cr more

The ministry of food processing industries (MoFPI) is in the process of giving final go-ahead to 15 new mega food parks, says a ministry official. Also, it will seek an additional allocation of Rs 250-300 crore in the current financial year. It has already been allocated Rs 660 crore under the 12th Plan, for the current year, but the ministry needs more funds to execute projects.
