The capital of Chhattisgarh will have three foot over-bridges to facilitate people crossing the roads without much problem.
The proposal, mooted by the Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC), had been pending for the past two years. The corporation invited tenders and many companies turned up to take up the project. But the proposal could not take shape as the town and country planning department put some objections. RMC started the exercise again and re-drafted the proposal that was submitted to the department.
The town and country planning department have given in-principle approval to the proposal.
