National Insititute of Technology Goa has invited applications for the recruitment of various non-teaching staffs and teaching faculties. NIT invites candidates to apply for various faculty positions in following departments computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mathematics, English chemistry, electrical and electronics engineering. Along with teaching staff NIT Goa has also invited application for various non-teaching positions such an accountant, technical staff, registar, superintendent, multitasking staff, nurse, junior engineer, lab assistant and more. Reservation policy as mandated by Govt. of India will be applicable for the recruitments.

NIT Recruitment Eligibility Criteria - Faculty Positions
Only M.E/M.Tech/M.Phil/Ph.D awarded candidates need to apply
NIT Recruitment Eligibility Criteria - Non-Teaching Positions
Registrar: The candidate must have a Master's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55 % marks from a recognized university in order to apply for the registrar’s post.
Executive Engineer: Aspiring candidates must have a civil engineering degree from a recognized university to apply for an executive engineer post.
Superintendent: Candidates applying for superintendent post must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in commerce. Candidates with MBA in finance can also apply for this position.
Technical Assistant: Aspiring Technical Assistant must have a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline. Candidates with Diploma in Engineering may also apply; PGDCA candidates would be given preference.
Stenographer: Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline and must have a shorthand speed of 80 words per minute and typing speed of 35 words per minute.
Technicians: Aspiring candidate should be a B.Sc. Degree holder in relevant field, alternatively they should have completed 12th grade and an ITI course.
Lab Assistants: Aspiring candidate should be B.Sc. degree holder in relevant field or they must have done ITI course after completion of class 12th. Candidates who have completed Diploma in Engineering can also apply for this post.
Multi-Tasking Staff: Aspiring candidates should have passed matriculation or ITI from a recognized board.
NIT Age Limit
For the post of Registrar maximum age limit is 55 years. For the post of Assistant Librarian candidate’s age should not be more than 35 years. For the post of Executive Engineer, Superintendent, Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer candidate’s age must be below 30 years. Whereas maximum age limit for the post Nurse, Stenographer, Junior Assistant, Lab Assitant, Multitasking Staff is 27 years.

Selection would be done on basis of written screening test followed by a personal interview.
Pay Scale at NIT for Non Teaching and Teaching staff
Selected Registrar Deputation are eligible to get a pay scale of Rs.37, 400 – 67,000/-. Pay scale for Assistant Librarian and Executive Engineer is Rs.9, 300 – 34,800/- and for Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer, and Nurse the pay scale is Rs.5, 200 – 20,200/-
