This executive program has been designed to provide a foundation for marketers who want to specialize in the digital and social media marketing strategies, or those wanting to broaden their understanding in this domain. This six month certificate program from IIM Calcutta would hone your general management skills followed by deep diving into the basic and advanced modules of marketing in the social and digital media platforms. The course focuses on sharing the latest trends, best practices and technologies for effective digital and social media marketing. It will provide in-depth knowledge on digital and social media marketing and analytics: how to plan, implement and measure a digital marketing and social media strategy to create awareness, generate leads and ultimately drive sales. The faculty will focus on the synergy between in-field practice and in-class learning.
Program Duration And Modules: This is a six months program that is divided into three modules of approximately two months each. The first and third modules will be conducted as face-to-face classes at IIM Calcutta campus. The durations of the two campus visits would be of one-week each. The second module would be delivered using direct to device for around three months. This would enable participants to attend the program at their convenience from their homes or offices. The program will be highly experiential and interactive, comprising participant presentations and discussions, case studies, classroom lectures and presentations by experts from academia as well as industry. On successful completion of the course, the learner will receive a certificate of completion from IIMC. The candidates will also be awarded an alumni status by IIMC. There will be exams at the end of each module. All exams would be assessed on four different grades – Excellent, Good, Average and Poor. Candidates will successfully complete the course if they have received poor grades in not more than two exams. All learners must attend at least 80% of all sessions in each module, and get minimum grades to be eligible for certificate of successful completion from IIM Calcutta.
Eligibility Parameters:
Graduate / Post-Graduate degree with minimum 50% marks, and at least 2 years of experience in media, advertising, start-ups, social or digital media, e-commerce or related domains instead of at least Graduate degree.

Campus Visit Fee: A mandatory campus visit fee is to be paid before every campus visit to IIMC. This amount includes boarding and lodging. Travel arrangements including travel expenses for the campus visit have to be made by the learners themselves. The campus visit fee should be paid via DD drawn in favor of "Indian Institute of Management Calcutta" payable at Kolkata close to the visit date. A campus visit fee of 6000 per day plus applicable taxes is payable directly to IIMC. This amount will be paid over two installments, before the beginning of each campus visit.
