The results of WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam) for the year 2017 have been declared on the official site. The exam was conducted on April 23 (Sunday) this year and the answer key was released online on May 17. The Board conducts Common Entrance Examinations annually for admission to the undergraduate level engineering courses in the state of West Bengal. The Board aims at bringing about transparency in conducting Common Entrance Examinations for various professional undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in the State.

The result has been declared as Rank Cards (RC) including all the ranks and scores in Math (Paper 1) and Physics & Chemistry (Paper 2). The List 1 of merit rank will help students secure a seat in all-degree courses pertaining to technology, engineering and architecture. It will also help the student take admission in pharmacy in Jadavpur University. The List 2 of Merit Rank will consider the scores of physics & chemistry, which will help the students secure a sear in all institutions for pharmacy courses.

As far as cutoff marks are concerned, they will based on the total number of students that appeared for the examination, availability of the seats, and the difficulty level of the exam paper. Also, the cutoff marks differ depending on the reserved categories and institutions.
