- With RBI returning back funds to the market in its 91-day T-bill auction, gilt prices moved up.
- The prices of long and medium term papers went up by 30 paise, whereas short-tenure papers moved up by 10-15 paise.
- The benchmark 10-year 7.38 per cent 2015 closed at7.08 per cent.
- The newly auctioned paper 7.27 per cent 2013 closed 9-10 paise, higher at Rs 101.35 against the cut-off price of 101.26 on Tuesday.
- Call rates were comfortable with reverse repo bids at Rs 9,470 crore.
