Prices of government securities went up marginally with fears of auction evading after the private placement.The 8.07 per cent 2017 gilt closed at a yield of 7.38 per cent . The call rate eased at 6.70/75 per cent. Corporate bond market remained lacklustre. Liquidity in the market improved with state government spending.
