Shriram Life Insurance on Wednesday announced its tie-up with Telenor India for an initiative to bring life insurance services to the subscriber base of Telenor.
Shriram Life Insurance, in partnership with Telenor, shall give insurance cover to all Telenor subscribers who opt in, through the group life insurance product.
S Natarajan, director, Shriram Group, said that this tie up will offer an opportunity to spread insurance awareness among the large rural and semi-urban subscribers of Telenor and increase insurance penetration on low ticket size to a large subscriber base.
Manoj Jain, chief executive and whole-time director, Shriram Life, said that this initiative would empower the 'Aam Aadmi' with both choice and opportunities towards financial security.
