Preparations for the launch of modified DBTL scheme

MOS(I/C) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan held a video conference with the District Administration Authorities of four districts to dicuss the implementation of the modified DBTL scheme for direct transfer of LPG subsidy to consumers. During the conference the officials of the oil marketing companies, nationalised banks were also present along with district authorities.The Minister emphasised coordination among all the units for effective implementation of the scheme and smooth and flawless receiving of LPG subsidy by consumers in their bank accounts. Shri Pradhan also dicussed the issues pertaining to difficulties in the earlier scheme. This was a second such conference held by the Minister for smooth implementation of the scheme which is being launched from15th Nov 2014 in 54 districts and all over the country by 1 January 2015.
