The ceasefire along India-Pakistan border in J&K along the LoC and International Border (IB) came into effect from the intervening night of 25/26 November, 2003. The agreement has been violated by Pakistan from time to time. Appropriate retaliation, as required, to ceasefire violations in carried out by Indian Army along the Line of Control.
