Two people injured in Kokrajhar grenade blast

Sources said that four or five miscreants came and flung the grenade at the fish market injuring two persons.

Two people were injured when unidentified miscreants flung a grenade at a fish market in Gossaigaon subdivision of Kokrajhar district on Friday evening at around 8 pm.

Sources said that four or five miscreants came and flung the grenade at the fish market injuring two persons. The injured were identified as Hasan Ali and Wajid Ali. They have been rushed to Gossaigaon RNB Civil Hospital.

One witness said that he had come to the market to pack things when the incident took place but denied knowing how it had happened.
