Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India has appointed Nipun J Mahajan as head of sales and network development. Mahajan, an engineer and management postgraduate in marketing and finance, comes to FCA with 22 years of experience in retail and corporate sales, network development, sales planning and after sales in the automotive sector. Prior to this, he was director and head of sales, service and planning at Harley Davidson India. He has also been associated with brands like Volkswagen, Honda and Porsche.

YAAP Digital has acquired Brand Planet Consultants, a strategic branding and design company that was founded in 2008. Till recently, the firm was known as Elephant Delhi - the North Indian operations of Pune-based design independent Elephant Design. Brand Planet, based out of Delhi NCR, handles clients such as Coca-Cola, Mrs Bector's Foods, Mahindra Comviva, Godfrey Phillips India, SBI Cards, Hero Cycles, PI Industries and LT Foods.

Digital mandate
Tonic Media, a Mumbai-based digital agency, has bagged the digital mandate for Sony PlayStation. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch. The agency will work on developing the brand's online presence through social media platforms. The agency will help Sony PlayStation to build and execute strategies that will allow the brand meet its business objectives.
