Leo Burnett has appointed Dheeraj Sinha as chief strategy officer. Sinha will be based out of the agency's Mumbai office and will be responsible for planning across South Asia. In a career spanning 17 years, Sinha has worked with McCann Erickson, Euro RSCG, Bates and Grey. In his last role, he led the strategic planning function for Grey in India, South and South East Asia. Sinha has worked on brands and businesses across markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Bangladesh, and has authored two books on the Indian consumer market.

Marketing sport

Adidas Group India has appointed Silvia Tallon as senior marketing director of Reebok India. Tallon will be responsible for the brand's strategic positioning and strengthening its association with athletes, consumers and fitness stakeholders across the country. In a career spanning over two decades, Tallon has worked with companies such as Levi Strauss, Intersport and Vanity Fair, with experience in fashion and sports industries in brand and product marketing, purchasing, sourcing and design. She also worked in the Adidas Group in Germany as a global category manager for swimwear for three years.

Health shift

Gurgaon-based health care start-up 1mg has appointed Tanmay Saksena as its chief operating officer. Saksena holds an MBA from Stanford University and a B-Tech from IIT Kanpur. Prior to this, Saksena was Zomato's global business head, online food ordering. He has earlier worked in the Silicon Valley for almost a decade, employed with technology start-up Playdom that was acquired by the Walt Disney Company. He has also worked with Unilever India.

Furnish finance

Pepperfry.com has appointed Neelesh Talathi as chief financial officer. Talathi will lead strategy, financial planning, accounting, legal and corporate affairs for the furniture and home products marketplace. A chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a management accountant from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, Talathi has close to two decades of experience.
