Rajan Saxena, Vice Chancellor of NMIMS informed that the cut-off for this year has been declared as 94.709 per cent (similar to last year – 94.936 per cent). Last year, 2378 candidates were shortlisted.
Shortlisted candidates include 24 per cent females, which is 5 per cent more as compared to NMAT 2013. This year, NIMS also noticed substantial increase in preference for MBA-HR. There were a total of 872 candidates shortlisted for MBA-HR compared to 698 candidates last year. Out of the total selected, 85per cent of shortlisted candidates are engineering graduates.
The Case Discussion and Personal Interviews for both MBA and PGDM will be conducted from February 12 to February 22 at the Mumbai campus, while the same for PGDM applicants will also be conducted at Bengaluru Campus of NMIMS. The final Merit List of selected candidates will be announced on March 5, 2014.
