Asian markets end mixed

The Sanghai Composite gained 28 points at 3,008.

The Hang Seng advanced 26 points to 18,204.

The Seoul Composite ended the day eight points higher at 1,420.

The Nikkei and the Straits Times declined 60 points and 21 points, to close at 9,816 and 2,299, respectively.

The Taiwan Weighted was marginally down two points to 6,665.

The Hang Seng has dropped 83.39 points to 18,095.

The Nikkei has slipped 108 points (1%) to 9,768.

The Shanghai Composite has added 15 points to 3,075 and the Seoul Composite is flat at 1,412.

The Straits Times has declined 23 points to 2,297 and the Taiwan Weighted Index is down 30 points at 6,638.

Asian markets are in red this morning, following weak US job data.

The Hang Seng has slipped 106 points to 18,072. The Nikkei has dropped 102 points (1%) to 9,775.

The Straits Times is down 19 points (1%) at 2,302.

The Seoul Composite and the Taiwan Weighted are flat at 3,059, 1,409 and 6,673, respectively.
