Asian markets remain flat; Hang Seng down 40pts

The Asian markets continue to move flat.

The Hang Seng has slipped 43 points or 0,2% to 21,288. The Nikkei is down 65 points or 1% at 10,808.

The Shanghai Composite Index is marginally down nine points at 3,037.

The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite are marginally up at 2,923 and 1,681, respectively.

The Taiwan Weighted Index is down five points at 7,880.

The Asian markets have opened flat. Hang Seng is quoting at 21,332, higher by one points and the Nikkei is at 10,815, up 71 points.

Straits Times is at 2,921, up seven points and Seoul Composite is at 1,679, up four points, while Taiwan Weighted is at 7,869, down 16 points.

Shanghai Composite is at 3,044, down one point.
