Bank of Baroda shares increased 2.89 per cent to close the day at Rs 313.7 on the announcement of positive Q4 results. Net profit spurted 172.3 per cent to Rs 752.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2009, while its total income rose 28.5 per cent to Rs 4,992.41 crore in the same period.
The stock opened at Rs 305.9 and made an intraday high/low of Rs 326.4/Rs 303. The counter witnessed trading volumes of 707,000 shares.
