Cardamom futures for March gained Rs 8.30, or 0.96%, to Rs 872.40 per kg in 1,297 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract also edged up by Rs 5.20, or 0.57%, to Rs 909.50 per kg in 986 lots.

Prices were supported by pick-up in spot demand.

Besides, tight supplies in the physical market following less arrivals from producing region also helped the uptrend.
