Copper rises 0.4% on increased demand
Global trends strengthened after China's total exports surged 25%

Copper futures for February rose Rs 1.70, or 0.39% to Rs 443.10 per kg in 23,413 lots.
At the multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract traded higher by Rs 1.65, or 0.37% to Rs 448.05 per kg in 2190 lots.
Prices rose as speculators enlarged positions on increased domestic demand.
Global trends strengthened after China's total exports surged 25% last month thus influencing the sentiment.
On the London Metal Exchange, copper added 0.4% to $8,235.75 a metric tonne.
