Nickel rises 0.23% on spot demand

Pick-up in demand from alloy-makers spported the trade

Nickel futures for February rose by Rs 2.20, or 0.23% to Rs 976.30 per kg in 7,612 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March contract traded higher by Rs 1.80, or 0.18% to Rs 981.50 per kg in 691 lots.

Speculators enlarging positions, tracking a firm spot market trend on pick up in demand from alloy-makers, spported the trade.
