FDC has surged 14% to Rs 156 in otherwise subdued market after huge block deals executed on the counter on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The stock opened at Rs 137 and touched a record high of Rs 157.
Till 0953 hours, around 4.85 million equity shares representing 2.73% of total equity of the pharmaceutical firm have changed hands in multiple block deals between price of Rs 142 and Rs 149, the BSE data shows.
