Prices of gram and rajmah drifted by up to Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today owing to sluggish demand at prevailing levels against adequate stocks supply.
Market analysts said sluggish demand against adequate supplies mainly led to a fall in select wholesale pulses prices.
In the national capital, gram shed Rs 25 to Rs 2,900-3,000 and its dal local and best quality traded lower by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,300-3,400 and Rs 3,500-3,600 per quintal, respectively.
Rajmah chitra (Pune) and (China) declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,100-4,400 and Rs 4,150-4,350, respectively, while kabli gram small variety lost Rs 100 to Rs 5,400-7,800 per quintal.
