Guarseed prices softened by Rs 16 to Rs 2,473 per quintal in future trade today, tracking weak sentiment at the spot market as speculators preferred to reduce their holdings.
Increased arrivals and reduced offtake in physical markets put weight here on the future trading of guarseed.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange counter, guarseed prices for delivery in January at Jodhpur fell by Rs 16 or 0.64 per cent, to Rs 2,473 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,23,750 lots.
For delivery in February eased by Rs 16, or 0.63 per cent, to Rs 2,520 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,06,300 lots.
